Spandan, a Gujarati Poem Recitation Competition was organised by St Kabir School on 13th Jan 2024, which witnessed a noteworthy blend of linguistic diversity as English medium students showcased their poetic prowess. Breaking barriers, these students demonstrated exceptional talent, proving that language is not a limitation when it comes to expressing the depth of emotions through the art of poetry. The event served as a testament to the universality of poetic expression, celebrating the spirit of creativity that transcends linguistic boundaries.
In a spirited competition, Spandan awarded three prizes for each class in the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th standards, recognizing the outstanding poetic achievements of students. The coveted title of winner went to the Naranpura branch, underscoring their literary excellence. The judging panel, consisting of Dr. Baldev Mori a professor of Gujarati at Gujarat Vidyapith. Shri Bhargav Purohit bollywood’s most successful music composer and song writer, Shri Chandresh Makwana renowned poet and lyricist brought expertise and discernment to the evaluation process, ensuring a fair recognition of the participants’ poetic talents.
