St. Kabir School, Naranpura proudly organized a vibrant and inspiring Rangoli Competition, where students showcased their creativity, imagination, and deep cultural understanding. The event turned the school premises into a colourful canvas filled with artistic brilliance and meaningful concepts.
Students created exceptionally thoughtful rangolis based on diverse themes such as Shree Yantra, representing prosperity and spiritual harmony, and Samudra Manthan se Mano mathan, symbolizing the inner churn of thoughts and emotions. Another group presented the theme Samruddhi–Samrakshan and Saubhagyam, highlighting the importance of preservation, abundance, and the blessings of good fortune.
One of the most unique and thought-provoking themes was “Thoda Socho – Phir Kharacho”, which focused on mindful spending. To express this, students used kodi, the ancient form of currency once used in India, as an essential element in their rangoli. This creative touch added a historical and cultural dimension to their artwork, reminding everyone about the value of money and the significance of thoughtful financial choices.
Adding depth to their visual creations, students delivered meaningful and well-prepared speeches, beautifully connecting their rangoli designs with the theme they had chosen. Their explanations reflected clarity of thought, confidence, and a strong understanding of cultural symbolism.
The judges appreciated the students’ efforts and shared wonderful feedback, praising the originality, colour combinations, thematic relevance, and presentation skills displayed by the participants. They commended the students for transforming traditional rangoli art into a medium of storytelling and value-based learning. Overall, the Rangoli Competition was a delightful blend of art, tradition, creativity, and expression, leaving everyone inspired by the talent and ideas of the young artists of St. Kabir School, Naranpura.
