On the solemn occasion of Martyrs’ Day, grade 9 students of St. Kabir High School, Navrangpura conducted a heartfelt morning assembly to honor the brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the nation. The assembly aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and gratitude among students while remembering the contributions of our national heroes.
The assembly began with the school prayer, followed by the pledge. A brief speech on the significance of Martyrs’ Day highlighted the supreme sacrifices made by Mahatma Gandhi and other freedom fighters.
To further engage the audience, students conducted elocution on the topic “Mahatma Gandhi’s Ideology: A Timeless Guide for Today’s World or an Outdated Philosophy”.
As a mark of respect for the martyrs, followed by the national anthem, reinforcing our commitment to uphold the ideals they stood for. Later at 11:00 am a moment of silence was observed by the students.
The event was a moving tribute that left the students and teachers reflecting on their duty towards the nation.
