The Saint Kabir Model United Nations (SKMUN) 2025 was an event executed with immense passion, determination, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Hosted at Saint Kabir School, Naranpura, Ahmedabad, the conference brought together diplomacy, leadership, and intellectual curiosity under one roof. The event was efficiently organised by the school’s dedicated students, who served as the core team, supported and guided at every step by their teachers—the true beacons of experience and wisdom.
1. LOK SABHA
The Lok Sabha committee, where issues of national importance are debated, was chaired by Karan Tekwani (Grade 12) and co-chaired by Saood Memon (Grade 11). Delegates engaged in powerful and meaningful discussions on the Uniform Civil Code, ultimately concluding with a bill passed successfully. The committee maintained an excellent diplomatic flow, earning appreciation from all participants.
2. INDIAN CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY (ICA)
The ICA committee transported delegates back to the era of India’s newly-gained independence. Chaired by Krish Parikh and Muskaan Khemani (both Grade 12), the committee revisited the drafting of the Constitution. Intense debates over national crises and sub-agenda topics kept the room vibrant with ideas, making it one of the most enriching experiences for delegates and the SKMUN team alike.
3. ALL INDIA POLITICAL PARTIES MEET (AIPPM)
AIPPM, chaired by Aarav Dalal (Grade 12) and Kavan Thakker (Grade 11), saw representatives of various political parties’ debate issues demanding immediate national attention. Discussions on the credibility of India’s electoral process concluded with the formation of a Technological Review Committee. Delegates showcased skillful diplomacy and unity throughout.
4. INFORMATION PRESS – JOURNALISM & PHOTOGRAPHY
The Journalism and Photography committee served as the vital communication bridge of SKMUN. Led by Preksha Khatang (Journalism) and Kanav Trivedi (Photography), reporters formed media houses and conducted dynamic press conferences across all committees.
