Every year, the students of St. Kabir School, Naranpura, uphold a heartfelt tradition of visiting an old age home, sharing warmth, and spreading cheer among the elderly residents. This year, continuing their noble practice, the student council visited the Man Mandir old age home, Gurukul. Old Age Home, creating an atmosphere filled with love, joy, and compassion.
The students made a sincere effort to ensure that the elderly residents felt valued and cherished. They began their visit by engaging in meaningful conversations with the elders, listening to their stories, and sharing laughter. This was followed by a lively entertainment program that included music, singing, and dance performances. The student’s enthusiasm and dedication brought smiles to every face, transforming the day into a memorable celebration for all. Adding a touch of generosity, the students distributed packets of ration to the elderly residents, emphasizing their commitment to supporting the needs of the community. The residents expressed their gratitude through heartfelt blessings. It was an opportunity to learn the importance of empathy and service, while for the elderly, it was a day filled with companionship and happiness. Such initiatives by St. Kabir School highlight the values of compassion and social responsibility ingrained in their students. By reaching out to the elderly, they not only brightened the day of the residents but also set an example of how small acts of kindness can create lasting memories and bonds.
